Hi fellow rare fruities. This is a test run (for me). So if I have passed please say g’day and let me know how I went. From Paul Andrew in God’s own country at Mackay in central Queensland

This year, all the different mango varieties on my patch ripened within about a 6 to 8 week period, where as in the past they are usually spread over about 5 months. Does anybody have an explanation for this. I heard in the media recently that they are going to land a space craft on a comet that is 4.6 billion years old. I wonder if mother nature is not happy about this so she shortened up the fruiting period for the mangos. What are your thoughts – on the mangos, not the space adventure?
