Small Nashi Pear
09/04/2014 // 0 CommentsHi Camo’s camp, What did you do to restrict the size of your Nashi, as mine are usually twice that size. I usually look for a colour change to determine maturity then I test drive one. I find that even if I pick it a bit green it is still acceptable to eat – not as sweet, but edible. I think they are definitely worth growing in our area as I get some sort of a crop every year. The tree seems fairly hardy, and not too many critters feed on the fruit
